Dr. Christina Pisanello, DC, LAc, CYT
Upon graduating with honors from Monmouth University with a B.S. in Biology, Dr. Christina knew that her educational journey had just begun. After researching several potential healthcare career paths, she came across the profession of chiropractic. Dr. Christina knew she was in alignment with the philosophy of chiropractic when she discovered it was based on restoring the body to homeostasis (optimal function and balance) using the body’s own innate intelligence to self-regulate and heal given proper nutrition, positive mindset, and functional movements.
Dr. Christina then enrolled in the Doctorate of Chiropractic program at New York Chiropractic College (NYCC) in Seneca Falls, NY. About half-way through her training at NYCC, she discovered acupuncture and oriental medicine. Fascinated by eastern philosophy and its holistic approach to health, Dr. Pisanello dual-enrolled at the Finger Lakes School of Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine. Dr. Pisanello finished out her Master’s in Acupuncture training in China where she witnessed Traditional Chinese Medicine being used in conjunction with conventional Western medicine in the hospitals there.
Dr. Christina Pisanello is Board-Certified by the National Certification Commission of Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine (NCCAOM) and is an active member of the National Acupuncture Detoxification Association (NADA). She also has specialized training in treating facial paralysis, cosmetic acupuncture, microneedling, and pregnancy induction among other conditions.
Constantly expanding her knowledge, Dr. Christina had also earned her 200-hour yoga teacher training certificate at Tula Yoga Studio in Aberdeen, NJ. Always a scholar, Dr. Pisanello aspires to pursue additional education and training in Chinese Herbology as well as Nutrition and Functional Medicine.
Dr. Christina treats others with kindness and compassion and strives to do all she can to radiate positivity, help alleviate suffering and bring joy to everyone she encounters. It would be her honor to assist you in finding peace, comfort and balance in your healing journey.
